Seaboard Marine is pleased to announce upgraded services between Ecuador and the United States. Beginning in late February, 2015, our service scope from South America will expand to include weekly calls between Guayaquil, Ecuador and Miami, Philadelphia, and Brooklyn in the United States.

Piero Buitano, Vice President of Seaboard’s South America Division, said, “We see a unique opportunity to bring Seaboard’s high level of service to this market. Our ability to provide consistent weekly sailings gives our valued customers a truly reliable business partner, for both importers and exporters, between the United States and Ecuador.”

Buitano added, “This weekly service will be supported by an expanding fleet of vessels and our team of experienced professionals. We are adding hundreds of new refrigerated containers to handle northbound perishables, particularly from Ecuador.”

The first weekly sailing southbound to Ecuador departs February 20th, 2015 from PortMiami.

The first weekly sailing northbound to Miami, FL, Philadelphia, PA and Brooklyn, NY departs February 18, 2015 from Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Details regarding transit times and delivery cut-offs will become available next month as the first weekly sailing date approaches.
